Welcome to the Improving Show Rates for Underserved Dental Patients study. This research project provides dental clinic staff an opportunity to learn techniques to better connect with underserved patients. The American Dental Association reports that about 30% of appointments in Medicaid dental clinics nationwide are missed.
The project is funded by the National Institute on Dental and Craniofacial Research and will explore the effect of various interventions to improve show rates.
